Applications Open for Reception 2021
he International School of Ahafo is open to all Newmont Ghana Gold Limited families and children of full-time teachers at ISA. Students moving to the area are accepted throughout the year, although entry at the beginning of term is encouraged, where possible. An overview of our admissions process has been provided below and the process must be successfully completed before a student is considered for enrolment.
ISA welcomes applications from all age-appropriate children.

| Year 2 | At least 6 and not older than 7 by August 31 of the school year they apply |
| Year 3 | At least 7 and not older than 8 by August 31 of the school year they apply |
| Year 4 | At least 8 and not older than 9 by August 31 of the school year they apply |
| Year 5 | At least 9 and not older than 10 by August 31 of the school year they apply |
| Year 6 | At least 10 and not older than 11 by August 31 of the school year they apply |
| Year 7 | At least 11 and not older than 12 by August 31 of the school year they apply |
| Year 8 | At least 12 and not older than 13 by August 31 of the school year they apply |
Note: Year 9 is not offered in the 2021-2022 academic year, but will be offered in future years.

Step 1: Complete the Application Form online via the link below

- For August 2021, applications are now open for Reception only.
- Applications close on Wednesday, 16th June 2021
- Entrance Assessments and Interviews start on Monday, 21st June 2021
Step 2: Download and return a hard copy of the Application Form with the following supporting documents to the School Office:
A copy of the child’s last two (2) school reports
- A copy of the child’s passport or birth certificate
- A passport photo of the child
- A copy of the child’s vaccination certificate and medical certificate
- Any progress reports or educational assessments that are available
There are only 4 spaces in Reception at this time and admission will be on a competitive basis; there will be entrance assessment and interviews with students and parents. A tour of the school will be arranged at the interview. These limited vacancies are based on COVID-19 and social distancing requirements; as restrictions are eased, class sizes will increase accordingly
