Date: 03 Apr 2017 // By: Rita Dzide-Tei

Eyako Eli Dzantor, of Nyansapo Class, submitted an entry for the 2016 British Council Commonwealth Story Writing competition and has been named one of the winning entries. The competition was on the theme “Belonging” and teachers and students from ages 7 to 14 were invited to submit entries in the form of a short story or an illustration. Out of the 3000 entries submitted, Eyako’s was among the nine in the 11-14 category, which were commended by the judging panel. This is quite a feat given that he was the only African and Ghanaian on the list.
