The Student Council candidates gave presentations to the whole school about why they should be chosen for Student Council. We were all very impressed with the quality of the speeches. Voting was completed online and winners announced. The old Student Council handed over their roles to the new Student Council.

● Arranged for ice to be in the drinking water
● Collection of goods to be distributed to people in need in the local community – working with Social Welfare
● Donated school supplies to local schools – from money raised at Student Council events.
● Hosted the Harmattan Concert
● Organised the Masquerade Party
● Ensured students had more input into clubs
● Suggested students help to lead some of the clubs
● Helped with the Sports day with swimming afterwards
● Presented at the Meet the ISA Community event
● Helped at the September activity afternoon
● Organised Bake Sales
● Organised MKV Cleanup
● Put Anti-litter posters around MKV for World Environment Day
● Suggested stress relieving exercises before sports day
● Decided the program for World Children’s Day

● Helped with a swimming day including the raft race where every class made rafts from recycled plastic bottles
