Kindness Day

13th November is World Kindness Day. At ISA, we observed a whole week of Kindness to reflect on the value of kindness and how our actions impact those around us. There was a kindness ballot, where everyone was assigned someone to create a small handmade gift and a kindness note for.

Students also had to write down one positive thing and one negative thing someone had done for them. In assembly time, the gifts and kindness notes were distributed, creating a sense of excitement and appreciation across the school. We also discussed the issues raised and challenged ourselves to practise greater kindness.

“The smallest act of kindness is worth more than the greatest intention” – Kahil Gibran.
