We celebrated Career Day on Friday, 13th June 2025, and what a vibrant and inspiring event it was! Our students embraced the spirit of the day and dressed as pilots, soldiers, engineers, doctors, lawyers, teachers, a painter, a DJ and many more exciting professions.
We were also fortunate to have an excellent line-up of guest speakers, from a wide range of careers sharing their journeys and insights with our students. They sparked the children’s curiosity, and inspired many future aspirations.
- Ms. Henrieta Herty Bentil – Accommodation, Food & Beverages Manager, Atlantic Catering and Logistics
- Peter Akomea – Sonographer, St. Elizabeth Catholic Hospital, Hwidiem
- Mrs. Evelyn Eli-Dzantor – Entrepreneur, Cross Care Hospitals
- Mr. Emmanuel Yomaa – Plant Operator, Newmont Ghana Ahafo Mine
- Ms. Mary Amo – Driller, Newmont Ghana Ahafo Mine
- Mr. Raphael Galley – Polywelder, Newmont Ghana Ahafo Mine
A consistent message echoed through each of the inspiring stories our guest speakers shared: work hard, be passionate about what you do, be disciplined, and seize every opportunity that comes your way. With this mindset, success in life is not just possible – it is inevitable!
A special highlight of the day was hearing about former ISA student, Eyako Eli-Dzantor. We were delighted to see photos of him as a young boy attending a past ISA Career Day, proudly dressed as a doctor. Today, that childhood dream is becoming a reality – he is now studying Medicine and is well on his way to becoming a doctor! Thank you Mrs. Eli-Dzantor for sharing this story with us.
Thank you to our inspiring guest speakers for sharing their time and experiences with us, and to all our parents for helping bring the day to life by dressing your children in their dream careers. It made the day even more special.
