This week, we celebrated STEAM Week at ISA. The students had a daily challenge and it was interesting to see how they approached the challenges. On Monday, we looked at Line Art and decorated our fences with it. The Early Years explored a building challenge. Domino challenges were enjoyed by everyone on Tuesday. On Wednesday, there was a STEAM scavenger hunt, and on Thursday, the students presented their homemade cars from recycled materials. (Thank you to all the parents who supported their children with their cars!) We concluded our STEAM week with an afternoon of crafts, which used Mathematics, Engineering and Art. Everyone was highly engaged. The crafts took a lot of concentration and patience, and certainly helped with developing everyone’s fine motor skills.
