Community Carnival

On Saturday, 23rd November 2024, the school community came together for the annual “Meet the ISA Community” event. This year’s event which was held in a vibrant carnival format provided plenty of opportunities for the staff, students, parents, the board and friends of the school to connect while supporting Student Council fundraising efforts.

The event opened with the Student Council flea market, offering second-hand goods, fresh fruit juices, and snacks. The PTFA hosted a collaborative art project at the forecourt and offered face painting services. At 10:30am, all members of the school community were introduced, emphasising the unity and shared purpose that define our school.

The carnival grounds came alive at 11:00am with a range of exciting games such as balloon kebab, race to pop the balloon, ring toss, splat, chuck a duck, frog jump, hook a duck, mini golf, football toss, and fish cup. There was also a spirited volleyball match between parents and students.

We finished the day with a complimentary picnic lunch. Special thanks go to our dedicated teachers, who organised the games and activities. We are also grateful to the PTFA for their invaluable support and to all the volunteers who stayed back to help with the clean-up. We raised an impressive GHS 4,291 from the entrance fees and sales. The proceeds will be used to provide supplies for underprivileged families in the community and support a local orphanage.
