Another fun-filled day at ISA! The second Community Carnival was held on Saturday, 11th October 2025, and it brought together students, parents, staff, board members and friends of the school for a colourful and joyous celebration. The day began with introductions of our stakeholders – the Board, Staff, PTFA, and the Student Council.
Afterwards, families enjoyed a variety of carnival games, including Race to Pop the Balloon, Ring Toss, Bottle Flip, Football Toss, and Balloon Kebab. Players collected stamps at each booth and once their score sheets were complete, they claimed their prizes at the Prize Booth. Other highlights of the day were face painting, a photo booth, and a lively volleyball match between parents and students. Student Council also ran a refreshments stall selling drinks, pastries, and popsicles to raise funds for their community service projects.
As part of our sustainability drive this year, no bottled water in single-use plastics was served this year; everyone was encouraged to bring their own water bottles and reusable cups were provided for those who did not have their water bottles. This was a simple yet powerful step. Small steps like this will help us reduce our carbon footprint and build daily habits that contribute to a greener future for our school community.
We are pleased to share that the Student Council raised GHS 2,675.17. All proceeds will go toward Student Council community service projects. A big thank you to everyone who was able to join us and to contribute to such a good cause.
