World Teachers’ Day

World Teachers’ Day is held annually on 5th October to celebrate all teachers around the globe and recognise the important work they do everyday in shaping learners, communities and the future.

At assembly on Friday, 3rd October 2025, Year 9 students delivered a heartfelt presentation on their experiences as learners. They opened with the quote, “If you can read this, thank a teacher,” and shared thoughtful reflections that brought smiles to our teachers. The presentation also featured video recordings of students across the school offering warm wishes and appreciation for their teachers. Thereafter, Student Council organised fun games for teachers and students to enjoy together.

On Monday, 6th October, students had the chance to step into their teachers’ shoes by leading lessons across the school. They embraced the challenge with enthusiasm and creativity, while giving their teachers a well-earned break.

Staff would also like to extend their appreciation to the PTFA and all parents for the generous World Teachers’ Day gift. Your thoughtfulness added an extra spark to the celebrations!
